Fun and Greening Your Business Go Together

In this multitask programed world it is important to disconnect from the IPOD, the computer, the cell phone and the Blackberry once in a while. Remember how to breath, remember what made you so passionate about the things that are most important to you.

What does this have to do with "Greening" your business? or "Living Sustainably?"

1)  Some of the best inventions, creative solutions and "Ah Hah!" moments come when we give ourselves permission to let go and just be in the moment. Is there an issue you have been wrestling with? Let it go, take a walk, see a comedy, take a nap. The issue will still be there when you return refreshed, recharged and potentially with a new idea.

2)  When you give yourself permission to attend social events in a relaxed environment serendipity is able to happen. Why and how is that so? When you are just hanging out and really listening to what people are saying then you are mentally engaged in a give and take with people, instead of pressing your own agenda.

With that kind of give and take valuable connections can be made and new opportunities can be seen.
