Is your company doing a great job recycling and reducing waste? If so, apply online to be a part of the King County’s 2011 Best Workplaces for Recycling & Waste Reduction list. The deadline is May 27! Last year, 75 companies made the list – businesses ranging from restaurants and office buildings to school districts and hotels.
King County’s list recognizes the accomplishments of small and large businesses in conserving natural resources, and in reducing the amount of trash that goes into our regional landfill. All businesses operating in King County outside the city of Seattle are eligible to apply, and the list will be publicized and announced to the public in June.
