Clean Tech companies looking for capital should check out Northwest Energy Angels, a membership organization of private investors.The members of Northwest Energy Angels are focused exclusively on young companies that can make a significant contribution to the emerging sustainable economy, primarily in the Pacific Northwest. They are "cleantech" or "greentech" businesses.

Sectors that they fund:

  • Alternative Energy (solar, wind, geothermal, micro-hydro, tidal, wave, fuel cell, etc.)
  • Biofuels and Waste-To-Energy
  • Energy Storage (batteries, capacitors, hydrogen, etc.)
  • Energy Efficiency and Conservation (buildings, lighting, vehicles, insulation, etc.)
