What size toter are available from Allied Waste?

The City contract allows for various sizes. These include 96-gallon, 36-gallon and 20-gallon containers. These are picked up every week. There is also a once a month 20-gallon toter. The smaller the size garbage container you have, the lower your bill.

What happens if I have too much garbage for my container once in a while?

You can put out extra garbage in a plastic bag. You will be charged for excess garbage, but an occasional additional service charge will still save you money.

What happens to my recycle and yard waste if I reduce garbage collection?

Your yard waste and recycle stay the same. Each customer is has a 96 gallon blue recycling container.

Each customer can put out 10 30-gallon containers of yard waste. The big green container is 96 gallons. You can put out additional yard waste in kraft bags, polypropylene bags, Remember you can put food waste in the yard waste container. Just one more way to reduce the amount of your garbage.
