The Shoreline Community College Athletic Department announced 56 winners of their Green and Gold Academic Club Awards on Monday. There was 31 members of the Green Club (3.00 – 3.49 GPAs) and 25 members of the Gold Club (3.50 – 3.99 GPAs). There were no Dolphin Club winners (4.00 GPA) in the Winter Quarter after 5 straight quarters of at least one Dolphin Club member.
The SCC men’s baseball team led the way with 11 academic award club winners, follow by women’s basketball and men’s soccer with 8 members each, men’s tennis and women’s softball had 7 members each as well. Baseball had 6 members in the Gold category followed by women’s tennis, with 5 gold members. The SCC athletic department had 61 Green, Gold and Dolphin winners in the fall quarter.
