Shoreline City Council Candidate Robin McClelland Received Highest Rating from King County Municipal League
McClelland also earned endorsements from Seattle-King County REALTORS and National Women’s Political Caucus of Washington
SHORELINE – Shoreline City Council candidate Robin McClelland continued to pick up momentum in her campaign this month, receiving several key endorsements and theKing County Municipal League's highest rating possible.
McClelland received an “Outstanding” rating from the Municipal League, a volunteer-driven, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that works toward better government in King County. It is the organization's highest rating. According to the Municipal League, McClelland’s rating, which is the only “Outstanding” awarded in her race, is based on her involvement, effectiveness, character and knowledge. Ratings were released yesterday and can be viewed at munileague.org under candidate-evaluations. .

A longtime city planner, active community member, mother and grandmother, McClelland also picked up the recent endorsement of the Seattle-King County Association of Realtors and the National Women’s Political Caucus of Washington.
“I am honored to have earned a ringing endorsement from the Municipal League and the support of respected organizations,” McClelland said. “I’m running for this position because I want to keep Shoreline the best place to live, and it’s very rewarding to have so many organizations believe I have the commitment and experience to deliver on that goal.”

The latest endorsements join a growing list of respected leaders across Shoreline including Shoreline Mayor Keith McGlashan and City Councilmember Shari Winstead and State Representative Ruth Kagi.
