The Shorewood Bowling Club earned a first place finish at the State competition this weekend.
Led by Jon Bjorkstam (10th), Greg Lobo (11th), Cody Dejoria (11th), Blake Erdman and Paul Stotts (both 12th), the T-Birds, who ended the regular season in third place in the Northend League, ended the season with a victory at state.
Shorewood bowled five matches each day and on Saturday it was: Ballard, Mountlake Terrace, and Marysville Arts & Science.

The T-Birds finished the day in second place with 21.5 points.
On Day Two it was: Renton, Marysville-Pilchuck, Bellermine Prep., and Burlington (twice) and when the scores were totalled, it was the Thunderbirds out in front with a final score of 43.5 points.

Greg Lobo was named Division III MVP and Blake Erdman was named to the All-State team with an average of 175.6 for Shorewood, who is led by head coach and former Shorewood bowler Alex Logsdon.
