KOMO News spoke to one of the would-be getaway drivers who told reporters that the robber offered him $3,200 for a ride and to rob more banks. Luke Balogh, who apparently recognized the bank robber, refused to give him a ride; then, he was offered $500 just to use Balogh's car, according to KOMO. Then the bank robber threatened Balogh with a gun, but he still refused.
The robber then proceeded to try and get a ride from an employee at a nearby espresso stand, offering the worker $500.
