Bicyclist Hit In Lake Forest Park, Driver Flees
The incident happened along Perkins Way over the weekend, according to police.

LAKE FOREST PARK, WA - A bicyclist was injured over the weekend in a hit-and-run collision with a driver, according to Lake Forest Park police. The incident happened along Perkins Way, a narrow and winding road that connects to Shoreline.
According to police, the driver fled the scene immediately following the crash. However, police were able to identify the driver and have arrested him.
In 2017, at least four bicyclists were injured in Lake Forest Park by cars - one of those was a serious collision. There were three such accidents in 2016, according to state Department of Transportation data.

The total number of bicyclist injuries and deaths dropped between 2016 and 2017 in King County. In 2016, four people died and 645 were injured; in 2017 five died and 549 were injured in some manner.
