Several “bottle bombs” were found in the City of Shoreline last month. Some exploded but there were no injuries and limited damage.
The first was on April 18 in the 19300 block of 25th Ave NW about 10:45 PM. Four plastic pop bottles were found, three on the front porch and one on the shoulder in front of the house. One of the bottles in the porch had apparently burned.
The second incident was on April 19th about 11:15 AM in the 20100 block of 17th Ave NW. The owner found several pop bottles bombs around his fence and on his front porch. At least a couple had either explored or burned.

The last reported incident was on April 23rd about 10:30 PM in the 18500 block of 3rd Ave NW. Five “exploded” bottles were thrown from a passing towards a house at that location.
A suspect vehicle was located after the most recent incident and an 18 year-old was taken into custody, although at this point no charges have been filed. More arrests are likely.
