SCC Women's Basketball Drops 83-72 Game To Everett CC:

The Lady Dolphins of Shoreline Community College were defeated by the Everett CC Trojans on Saturday in the SCC Gym by the score of 83-72. The "Game" Dolphins played a solid game, after being down by 23 points in the second half, they cut the lead down to 10 by the end and out scoring EVCC 41-40 in the second half. SCC improved from the first time when these teams played, as SCC lost that game 93-48 at Everett.

Ashley Savusa led SCC with 16 points and 4 assists. Emily Wilbur added 12 with 8 rebounds. Maile Keanu and Chelsea Padgett both scored 10 points each with Keanu grabbing 7 rebounds.

The Lady Dolphins are now 9-10 on the season and 2-6 in the NWAACC Northern Region. EVCC improved to 11-9 overall and 5-3 in the region. SCC plays at Bellevue on Wednesday night at 5:30 PM.
