Circle of Flutes CD Release Celebration Concert

A free concert to celebrate the release of their new CD “Rain and Blue Skies” will be given by the Circle of Flutes on Sunday, October 12, 2014.

The performance will include classical, jazz, folk and sacred music composed and arranged for C flute, piccolo, and alto, bass, and the rare contrabass flute. “Rain” and “Blue Skies,” composed and arranged by member Ann Lindquist, will be featured.

Founded in 1989, the eight-member Circle of Flutes has performed in the Capitol Rotunda in Olympia, Seattle Town Hall, and the Bloedel Reserve, and plays regularly for special events around Puget Sound. Members reside in Edmonds, Bothell, Mill Creek, Shoreline, Everett, and Mukilteo.
