When you go grocery shopping, could you bring along a senior from your neighborhood to go with you? Many seniors as they get older aren't able to transport themselves to the stores, bank, doctor's, etc. With your help, they will have a reliable way of getting around!
Volunteer Chore Services (VCS), a program of Catholic Community Services, helps low income elders and adults with disabilities remain in their own homes with a little assistance from caring community members, such as yourself. VCS serves individuals regardless of race, religion, ethnic background or sexual orientation. We are the "safety net" for those who do not qualify for state chore assistance and cannot afford to pay for these services.
