Editor's Note: Happy Vacation, Tony!

Patch contributor Jeanne Gustafson is filling in for Tony Dondero while he takes a short break this week.

Greetings, Shoreline and Lake Forest Park!

Your hardworking local editor, Tony Dondero, is taking a well-deserved break through Wednesday, and since I have the great good fortune of trying to fill his busy shoes while he walks barefoot on an Oregon beach, I thought I’d take this opportunity to introduce myself.

My name is Jeanne Gustafson, and while most of you haven’t seen my work on Patch, I’ve been here since the launch of the Seattle-area Patch sites last year.

I’m a journalist from Eastern Washington, but I also have special ties to the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park area, as my Mom, Vicki Stiles, is the director of the Shoreline Historical Museum—so I speak fluent Judge J.T. Ronald. I'm sure many of you have children who have enjoyed the hands-on activities at the museum, as my own little ones have over the years.

While Tony is enjoying a short vacation through Wednesday, Aug. 24, please feel free to contact me via his e-mail at tony.dondero@patch.com, or by phone at 425-747-4705 with any questions, concerns, or story ideas regarding this vibrant community, and please join me in wishing Tony a great and relaxing vacation.
