~ Lake City Recycles Electronics & More

Purpose:  A way for the community to recycle unwanted, working or non-working electronics safely and responsibly.

Cost:  FREE however cash donations to the North Helpline will be used to keep people in our community housed and fed.

North Helpline is partnering with "1 Green Planet" to recycle the items below as a free will, tax deductible donation to support the work of North Helpline:

  • Printers, fax machines, cell phones, VCRs, speakers, game systems, radios, computer batteries, Christmas lights, medical equipment, record players, ink toner & cartridges.  
  • Appliances of any size -- no limit!  Anything with a plug...anything containing metal!
  • Bicycles, BBQs, tools, furniture [metal furniture only - no wood] , exercise equipment, lawn mowers (please empty gas & oil).

Pick up service available for electronics and appliances for residents living in

  • Broadview, Greenwood, Blue Ridge, Crown Hill, Olympic Manor, North Beach, Bitter Lake, Haller Lake, Licton Springs, Maple Leaf, Northgate, Jackson Park Golf Course, Pinehurst, Lake City, Victory Heights, Matthews Beach, Iverness Meadowbrook, Cedar Park, Olympic Hills, Windermere, Hawthorne Hills, Ravenna, Bryant, Roosevelt, Wedgwood, View Ridge & Laurelhurst.
  • A required donation of $40.00 for pick ups.  Pick ups must be pre-scheduled no later than Weds, March 30th.  To schedule, contact (206) 367-3477.
