  • Where/When: 6:30-8 p.m. on Sat, Dec. 3 at .
  • Why Go: Help kick off the holiday season with the city of Shoreline during the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday. The Around The Sound Community Band will provide music and a sing-a-long while Santa hands out candy canes and toys to the children.
  • Cost: Free. Please bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to Hopelink.

  • Where/When: 2-4 p.m. on Sun, Dec. 4 at North Helpline in Seattle. 
  • Why Go: Help fight hunger and homelessness in the greater north Seattle area by bring your friends and family to this fun event. Each decorating station will have a gingerbread house, lots of royal icing, and tons of colorful candy. Enjoy coffee, cookies, and cocoa, live holiday music, and a chance to have your photo taken with Santa or your completed house.
  • Cost: $35.

 

  • Where/When: 7 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday at .
  • Why Go: Celebrate the Holidays with Choir of the Sound as they present festive favorites by the men who taught America how to sing: Fred Waring and Robert Shaw. Check out this preview of the concert, this should be a great performance.
  • Cost: Tickets at the door are $20 for adults and $10 for children.

 

  • Where/When: 7 p.m. on Sat, Dec. 3 at the .
  • Why Go: Join the Rainbow City Band for a festive evening of holiday music this Saturday at the Edmonds Center for the Arts. The Rainbow City Band is amazing. Check out this Youtube clip of the band in action to get an idea of what you're in for. Bring your friends and family for an Irish style Holiday celebration that will warm the winter night!
  • Cost: Tickets are $20 each, seating is general admission.

 

  • Where/When: 1-3 p.m. on Sun, Dec. 4 at Saturday, December 3.
  • Why Go: Learn simple practices with certified mindfulness coach Lorrie Jones, and take home a list of helpful hints to experience the holidays with calm and ease, eating and drinking mindfully and coping successfully with the ups and downs of this time of year.
  • Cost: Free.
