  • Where/When: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at Artworks in Edmonds.
  • Why Go: ARTSplash is a four-day art show exhibiting and selling original art by over forty established and emerging artists. There will be a broad range of styles and mediums including painting, printmaking, and photography to clay, fiber, glass, and jewelry. The art show will also feature Miniature Art (Tiny Treasures), Artists in Action, refreshments, and even free parking.
  • Cost: Admission is free.

  • Where/When: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. on Fri, July 22 at .
  • Why Go: Psychotherapist Dr. Kate Levinson will be at Third Place Books this Friday to discuss and her new book, Emotional Currency: A Woman's Guide to Building a Healthy Relationship with Money. Pick up a copy of the book while your there, then stick around after the discussion to get it signed.
  • Cost: Free.

 

  • Where/When: 9 p.m. Sat, July 23 at .
  • Why Go: Check out Darrell's this Saturday night for a little bit of burlesque and a lot of rock. The show starts with the Greenwood All*Stars and the Jezebel Rebels Caberet Burlesque. After the Burlesque show, Haymaker will play back to back sets as they celebrate their CD Release Party. Then round the night off with DJ Alpha Mullet as he spins some classy funk jams until close.
  • Cost: $10 cover.

 


  • Where/When: 10 p.m. - 12 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays at .
  • Why Go: If you've never been to Spin Alley for Cosmic Bowling, you've been missing out. They have strobes, disco balls, music, and lighted lanes. It's like bowling, but with a cosmic twist! Check out these great Cosmic Bowling photo's taken earlier this year by Patch photographer, Shannon Krig. Have trouble staying up that late? Spin Alley also offers Cosmic Bowling from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. on Sundays.
  • Cost: $10 for 1 hour and $15 for 2 hours. Prices include shoe rental.

 

  • Where/When: 1 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Sundays at .
  • Why Go: Do you and your friends or family love game night? Maybe you've grown tired of that same old Monopoly game and need something new. Or, maybe you just need a bigger space to play. The commons has you covered either way. Every Sunday the Third Place Gamers meet to play a variety of board, card and party games. Bring your own games to play or make some friends and try your hand at a new game.
