- Why Go:Â The Sounders take on Real Salt Lake this Saturday and the Lake Forest Bar and Grill is probably your best bet to catch the game locally. Game starts at 6 p.m. and happy hour starts at 9 p.m. just in time to save you some cash on a round of drinks to celebrate another Sounders win. Go Sounders!

- Why Go: Last fall, 36 Pacific Northwest authors came together for a marathon of writing live on stage in Seattle. The result? Hotel Angeline: A Novel in 36 Voices, an inventive story with surprises on every page. This Saturday, contributing authors Jennie Shortridge, Erica Bauermeister, Carol Cassella, KitBakke, Stephanie Kallos, Indu Sundaresan, and Kevin O’Brien will talk about the experience and read from this quirky and endearing novel.

- Why Go: If your a fan of folk music, this event has probably been on your radar for weeks. And rightly so, it's one of the largest free folk festivals in the country and it's all going down this Memorial Day weekend at Seattle Center. The annual Northwest Folklife Festival will feature over 7,000 diverse performers, participatory dances, workshops, crafts, food and much more.Â

- Why Go: If you're looking for laughs this weekend, you won't have to go very far to get them. Laughing Ladies Cafe is hosting the first ever Saturday Comedy Night. The night will feature Meghan Flaherty, Rylee Newton, Jim Kellner, Barbara Holm, and your host Barbara Sehr.
