- Why Go: This year's theme for WAGS will be "Wish Upon a Star." So grab you're furry friends and bring them to this star studded photo shoot. Dogs can dress them up as rodeo stars, a star to dance with, twinkly stars, superstars, or just as the stars they already are. Get your dogs picture taken and be entered into Mud Bay's online photo contest. The event will also include prints to take home, guest speakers and treats for all!Â

- Why Go: Wind down from the weekend craziness this Sunday at Third Place Commons with the Milner Family Fiddles. Yes, it is an actual family band. Two brothers and a sister on the fiddles and the father on rhythm guitar. Their sound is a mix between tradition Texas and progressive fiddling. Not exactly sure what to expect? - Where/When: 7-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Bastyr University in Kenmore.
- Why Go: Bastyr University's annual 'Haunted Trails' is returning for another year of spooky fun. Hosted in the forest behind Bastyr University's Kenmore campus the event is one of the biggest scarefests in the area and includes frightfully enjoyable activities for teenagers and adults, as well as trick or treating for children ages 7 and younger.
- Pricing: $10 per person. Proceeds benefit student study abroad programs.

- Where/When: 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Sat, Oct 15 at OLAE (Off Leash Area Edmonds)
- Why Go: And just in case you're need of another dog-friendly event this weekend, the Edmonds Off Leash Area is hosting it's 7th annual Halloween Howl on Saturday. You'll get to meet Edmonds animal control officers and visit with pet friendly vendors. There will even be a doggie costume contest starting and a silent auction to benefit the OLAE. - Why Go: Join the Northshore Fire Department as they celebrate their brand new headquarters. The Open House will include a pancake breakfast, tours of the new facility and activities for the kids.
