Shorewood vs Shorecrest battle it out in the
- Where/When: 7 p.m., Fri. Sept. 23 Shoreline Stadium,
- Why: It's the Rotary Cup. You don't have to go to high school to appreciate a great football rivarly. A sell-out crowd is expected so get there early. Patch will cover the game, feel free to add your photos to our game story and photo gallery!

Shoreline's Aurora Avenue Ribbon Cutting
- Where/When: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sat. Sept. 24 at The Park at Town Center (Aurora and 182nd St.) The ribbon cutting is at 1 p.m. in the park just north of 175th between Midvale Ave. and Aurora Ave.
- Why: The work between 165th and 185th Streets is complete. The city invites drivers, pedestrians and other residents to celebrate this milestone.

Theater: Bedtime Stories

- Where/When: 8 p.m. Sat., Sept. 24 The Phoenix Theater, 9673 Firdale Ave.
- Why: You haven't seen a play in months, maybe years. The Phoenix Theater is close by.
- Cost: $16
Free Pancake Breakfast (Thanks to the LFP Rotary Club)
- Where/When: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Sun. Sept. 25 at Third Place Commons
- Why: The LFP is celebrating it's 25th anniversary and they are inviting you to a free pancake and sausage breakfast. Stop by the LFP Sunday Farmer's Market after your breakfast. (It's only open two more weeks!)
- Bring your gently used bike to donate. The Rotary Club is colecting used bikes and cash as part of the Bicycles for Humanity Seattle program from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
