Joe Bodman Named SCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Bodman, a sophomore center from Post Falls, Idaho, was named SCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his efforts against Skagit Valley College and Olympic College.

The 6’7” center scored 32 points, grabbed 20 rebounds, blocked 2 shots and had 7 steals in the two victories for SCC during the week. SCC beat Skagit Valley 115 to 92 and Olympic 113 to 83.

Joe is second in the NWAACC in rebounding, with a 11.30 average per game and is third on the SCC team in scoring, with a 14.65 average.

SCC is 13-8 on the season, 7-3 in the NWAACC Northern Region and face North Seattle Community College on Wednesday in the SCC Gym at 7:30 PM in a "Big" match-up, as NSCC comes into the game, one game behind SCC for 4th place in the region. The top four teams in the region go to the NWAACC Basketball Championship.

Ernest Johnson (know around campus at Dr. J), will serve as a "Honorary" Coach for SCC for the "Homecoming" game against NSCC.
