The following blotter items were selected from Lake Forest Park Police reports from April 5-10, 2011.

April 5

VEHICLE PROWL: Someone stole loose change and a GPS from an unlocked silver 2000 Ford Taurus in the 2600 block of N.E. 184th Place.

April 6

RECKLESS DRIVING: A person driving a black Honda was doing doughnuts it the Brookside Elementary School parking lot, 17000 block of 35th Ave. N.E. After being contacted by police, he said he thought it be fun to do that in the parking lot because it was wet and no one was around. He stated it was a bad decision and that driving should be saved for the race track. Police warned him for his reckless driving.

April 7

GRAFITTI: Someone tagged the word "mask" on a street sign at 2500 N.E. 178th St. The same word was also tagged on a street sign in the 2800 block of N.E. 178th St. 

GRAFFITI:  Someone tagged the word "zero" on a label applied to a metal phone box in the 17000 block of 17000 of Brookside Blvd. N.E.  A street sign was also tagged with the same word at 5200 N.E. 184th St., 4900 N.E. 184th St. and 17800 47th Ave. N.E.

April 8

VEHICLE PROWL: Someone took a purse containing a wallet from an unlocked Honda Odyssey parked in the 2800 block N.E. 183rd St.

VEHICLE PROWL: Someone rummaged through the glove box of two vehicles parked under a carport in the 18000 block of 28th Ave. N.E. 

GRAFFITI: Someone tagged "zero" in a stencil style on a street sign in the 3300 block of N.E. 178th St.

BURGLARY: Someone broke into garages in the 17800 block 29th AVe. N.E. and took a GPS and garage door opener from vehicles.

April 9

MALICIOUS  MISCHIEF: An ex-boyfriend who recently got out of jail was suspected of letting the air out of tires of a vehicle in the  3500 block of N.E. 153rd St. 

April 10

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: Some reported that three individuals were seen digging up landscaping, including large plants, in front of Bank of America at 17181 Bothell Way N.E.  and stopped when they saw the reporting person. Police observed workers removing plants and replacing them with new ones and believed the work was legitimate.
