Last Shoreline Christmas Tree Recycling Event Scheduled For Saturday

The city will no longer host Christmas tree recycling events after this year - but that might be good for residents.

SHORELINE, WA - The city will host its last Christmas tree recycling event on Saturday, which might be more convenient for residents.

The city has signed a new waste management contract, and so in the future, residents will simply be able to put their trees at the curb for collection. Some size restrictions will apply, however. That new contract goes into effect March 1.

The last tree recycling event will taken place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Meridian Park Elementary, 17077 Meridian Avenue North. Trees must be free of all ornaments - including tinsel - and flocked trees will not be accepted. Read more about the recycling event here.
