LFP Police Blotter: Man Follows Sixth-Grader Home and Takes Pictures of Him

The following blotter items and information from Oct 10 through Oct 16 were selected from the Lake Forest Park Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

October 10

HEALTH CRISIS: At the 17000 block of Bothell Way NE a man was found lying down in the seat of his Chevy. He had been there for a couple hours.

UNAUTHORIZED PICTURE: At the 18000 block of 37thAVE NE an older white male followed a sixth-grader home, took pictures of him while holding a folder up over his face.

TRESSPASSING: At the 3800 block of NE 155th ST a homeless man was seen in a person’s yard. He claimed he was doing yard work and lived in Shoreline. There has been past reports of homeless activity in that area.

DRUNK DRIVING: At the intersection of Bothell Way NE and NE 165th ST a vehicle was seen speeding. The passenger said he did not have a license and did not know how to drive a stick.  The driver was arrested for being under the influence while driving.

BREAK-IN: At the 2900 block of 178th ST a house was broken into. Two screen doors were removed on windows and suspect booted the front door in. Some items were disturbed in the master bedroom, but nothing was taken.

THEFT: At the 17000 block of Bothell Way NE two bottles of champagne and beer were taken from Albertsons.

 

October 12

SUSPICIOUS CALLER: At the 5000 block of NE 188th ST a male person continued to call a house asking for a female person. The man at the house has had the phone for about a year and keeps getting calls from this subject. The male caller stated that if he were in the area he would come to the house.

VEHICLE AND PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: At the intersection of 38th AVE NE and Bothell way NE a transient was crossing the road when a vehicle struck him. The man complained of leg pain and was transported to northwest hospital.

FRAUD: At the 4000 NE 178th St: A man received checks asking to deposit and send a portion back to sender. The man took both checks to the bank and determined them to be fake checks.

October 13

ALTERCATION: At the 17000 block of Beach Dr NE a woman reported last week a driver veered towards her and forced her off the road. The driver then yelled and ranted about bicyclists on the street.

ACCIDENTAL EMERGENCY CALL:  At the 3000 block of NE 190th ST a man was unaware he had called 911. He had an emergency transmitter around his neck. He is an elderly man and hard of hearing.

LOST DOGS: At the 2800 block of NE 195th ST two pit-bull puppies were seen wandering in the street. Police were unable to locate owners.

October 14

CAR BREAK-IN: At the 5300 block of NE 193rd ST a car was broken into on the night of the 13th. Paperwork, toolbox and cables were taken.

DANGEROUS DRIVING: Three girls were walking their dogs when a car swerved and almost hit them.

OCTOBER 15

DANGEROUS ACTIVITY: At the 17000 block of Ballinger Way NE a woman called concerned about dangerous and possibly illegal activity at neighbor’s residence.

ALTERCATION: At the 17000 block of Ballinger Way NE a female was screaming and throwing fits at a bus stop. She took a drink from the garbage, began drinking it and dancing around.

DOMESTIC ABUSE: At the 17000 block of Brookside BLVD NE a female was beat up by her husband. She said she was okay. Her head was crushed and forehead is bleeding. She told police she doesn’t want her husband to go to jail.

October 16

STOLEN CAMPAIGN SIGNS: At the 3500 block of NE 178th ST several campaign signs were either uprooted or snapped off at base.

NOISE COMPLAINT: At the 15000 block of 37th AVE NE a woman called complaining that at least a dozen people were outside making a lot of noise.
