Man Wanted In Shoreline Brutal Assault Arrested In Oregon

A sharp-eyed deputy spotted the suspect.

SHORELINE, WA - Wei Wang, 50, was spotted in a hotel parking lot by a deputy in Beaverton, Ore. and arrested Friday night. He is alleged to have committed a brutal assault in Shoreline Sept. 14. He is being held in Washington County Jail and will be extradited to King County.

The King County Sheriff's Office had alerted law enforcement officials to be on the lookout for the suspect. Wang is being held without bail on a felony warrant from the state of Washington for first-degree assault, according to a statement from the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
