Man Who Sought To 'Shoot Some Jews' Arrested In Lake Forest Park
Snohomish County deputies and the FBI arrested the 20-year-old at his mother's home last Friday.

LAKE FOREST PARK, WA - A 20-year-old Monroe man was arrested recently in Lake Forest Park for threatening to carry out a mass shooting to kill Jewish people, according to a report. Dakota Reed is facing a malicious harassment charge, which is the state's hate crime statute.
Reed made the threats on social media using pseudonyms, according to the Everett Herald. He also owned multiple guns, including a shotgun and AR-15-style rifles.
“Gonna make the news some more and shoot some Jews in 2025,” he wrote on Facebook as recently as November, according to the report.

Snohomish County filed an extreme-risk protection order against Reed, according to the Herald. If granted, the order would prevent Reed from possessing guns.
Reed was released from the Snohomish County Jail on Tuesday night after posting bail, according to jail records.
