Mass Casualty Training In Shoreline All Week: FD

Seeing a lot of firefighters gathered in one spot? It might just be a training exercise.

SHORELINE, WA - The Shoreline fire department will be conducting mass-casualty incident training all week at Shoreline Community College - so don't worry if you see a lot of emergency personnel gathered there.

The training will span Tuesday through Friday, noon to 4 p.m. In addition to Shoreline, firefighters from Woodinville, Seattle, and Bothell will participate.

Mass-casualty incidents (also called MCIs) are ones where emergency personnel are suddenly inundated with victims. That could include anything from a large car crash to a school shooting.
