Men Who Robbed Mail Carrier Caught In Shoreline

The three men pulled a gun on a U.S. Postal Service employee on Monday afternoon in Lynnwood.

SHORELINE, WA - Three men who robbed a mail carrier in Lynnwood on Monday were found and arrested in Shoreline. The men were found hiding behind a house in a neighborhood off Northeast Perkins Way.

The robbery happened around noon Monday when the three men pulled a gun on the mail carrier in a neighborhood just east of the Alderwood Mall area. The men fled the scene in a white car that apparently had been stolen in Kent.

Police spotted the car driving in Lake Forest Park and initiated a pursuit. During the pursuit, the men threw packages out the window of the car. The men eventually ditched the vehicle and fled on foot. Police used a K9 to track down the men hiding behind a home along the 18500 block of 25th Avenue Northeast.

All three were taken into custody without further trouble.
