Patch Picks For Local Pumpkin Farms

Haven't gotten your pumpkin yet for Halloween? Here is a short description of a few of the best farms nearby.

Fall City Farms located at 3636 Neal Road Fall City, WA 98024, phone: 425.222.4553, offers a huge assortments of pumpkins, big, small, white, orange, and red. They also offer a lot of activities that will most certainly leave one feeling festive this autumn season. Visit their store, full of seasonal produce fresh from their farm. Grab some apple cider and pick up some warm doughnuts, both made on site. Plus the farm offers field trips. The fee for the tour is $8 per child, including siblings, no charge for helpful adults. Minimum $80.00. The tour is approximately 1 hour and they do very few tours per day, thus allowing one to relax and not feel rushed

They are open Tuesday - Saturday 10 am - 6 pm and Sundays 11 am - 5 pm; closed Mondays.

Enciso Family Farms is located at 19417 196th Avenue, SE in Renton, 98058. They promise visitors a seasonal treat, filled with hot cider, beautifully displayed antiques, farm equipment and vehicles, and pumpkins. Visitors can also enjoy a tour through a 1890’s barn, complete with items from that time.  If there is an animal lover in the family he or she will enjoy the peacocks, goats, ducks, chickens and more while sipping on coco or coffee and eating fresh kettle corn.  They are open on Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 7pm, October 8th through October 31.

Dr. Maze's Farm is located at the intersection of NE 124th St and Redmond-Woodinville Rd. (SR 202) at 15410 NE 124th St. Redmond WA 98052. The pumpkin patch is open to the public from Friday to Sunday to the end of October, opening from 10am to 6pm. For the night lovers a 5 ½ acre corn maze opens to the public on Flashnight, Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 10pm. If one wants a daytime experience don’t worry the maze is also open during daylight hours. The daytime entrance fee to the corn maze is $7. Entry to the corn maze on Flashlight Nights is $9. They also offer alternatives to the big corn maze for a littler person not ready for the long adventure.  They have a rubber duck race, kids craft table, and family crafts that the whole family can enjoy for a small fee. There are a lot of extra special activities at this farm so make sure to visit the website before you visit. But also be aware that most of the activities are not free.

 

Trinity Tree Farm is located at 14237 228th Ave SE Issaquah, WA 98027 and can be reached by phone at: 425-391-TREE (8733). They are open daily for the Fall Harvest through Sunday October 30. Hours: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. They also offer school tours and farm tours that are available Monday - Friday by reservation only. If someone in the family is turning a year older this farm offers birthday parties, Monday - Sunday by Reservation Only. The pumpkin patch is either U-Pick from the field or Pre-Picked Pumpkins. There are many fun activities for the whole family. A tractor is on site for
pulled hayrides, bouncy castle and inflatable slide for the little ones.  There is no entrance fees to visit the pumpkin patch or for the hayrides but a small fee for the bouncy house and slide. They expect cash only.
