Pet of the week - Brewster

Teeny pup's adoption to fund other dog's medical needs.

From pound puppies to purebreds, Patch spotlights dogs who enjoy what Shoreline/Lake Forest Park has to offer. For some dogs, like this week’s pet, Brewster, all they need is a loving home.

The 4-month-old, black-and-white-patched purebred male Chihuahua is now only four pounds. He will grow at least one more pound. He is cute as a button, a total love bug and looking for a forever home.

Brewster was rescued from a puppy mill, along with him mom and four litter mates. The adoption fee of $650 for Brewster and each of his siblings will be put to work to pay for eye surgeries needed for two dogs and hip surgery for another.

Brewster has had his first round of puppy shots and has been dewormed. He also comes with a certificate for neutering when he is 5 months old.
