Pets of the week - Smudge & Smokey

Two cats = twice the love

From pound puppies to purebred cats, Patch spotlights pets who enjoy what Shoreline/Lake Forest Park has to offer. For some cats, like this week’s pets Smudge and Smokey, all they need is a loving and safe home.

These 3-year-old Persian mix kitties catch everyone’s eye with their good looks.

Smudge and Smokey came to Homeward Pet with very matted fur. Once they got a nice summer haircut, they felt so much better and look fabulous.

Smudge and Smokey would do best in a quieter home where they can curl up with their human and get lots of love (and lots of brushing which they do enjoy). They can’t imagine their lives without each other so they are hoping for a kind person to adopt them together - that way they can keep each other company when their human is away from them.

These kitties are ‘people cats’ and two cats will give you twice the love. Visit them and see if they are a match for you.

Homeward Pet will be able to help even more animals like Smokey and Smudge, when they move into a new building this fall. Homeward Pet is funded entirely through generous donations who make a tax-deductible donations.
