4Culture and King County Wastewater Treatment Division invite you to a public ribbon-cutting event for the newly upgraded King County Kirkland Pump Station.
The pump station incorporates vibrant and colorful public artwork by W. Scott Trimble into its perimeter walls. The facility’s location within a busy hub of civic life started the artist thinking about how the artwork could inspire park visitors, library users, bus riders and neighborhood residents to want to learn more about how wastewater is managed and treated within the system.
Come celebrate the completion of this multi-faceted civic project with us! Meet the artist. Learn about how King County is working to protect the water quality in our region.
