Clear: 'Major' I-5 Crash Subsides After Causing 5-Mile Backup
The accident had cleared by 3:30 p.m., but backups lingered.

SEATTLE, WA - A "major" crash that happened near 3 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-5 has cleared, but traffic is still backed up to the Ship Canal Bridge as of 3:45 p.m.
At 3 p.m., the Seattle Department of Transportation reported a 3-mile backup as a result of the crash .
Although officials described the accident as major, Washington State Patrol said there are only minor injuries related to the crash.
