Seattle Teen Arrested For Shoreline Homicide
The 17-year-old was arrested by Seattle police on an unrelated charge - but was later found to be connected to the homicide.

SHORELINE, WA - A 17-year-old has been arrested for a shooting death that happened last weekend in Shoreline, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.
Last Saturday night, a 43-year-old man was found shot to death in a car off 15th Avenue Northeast. The shooter was gone by the time police arrived, but police recovered evidence at the scene including a cell phone and shell casings.
A few hours later, Seattle police arrested a 17-year-old in an unrelated matter for possession of a firearm. The shell casings from the scene of the Shoreline killing were linked to that gun.

After searching the victim's cell phone, police were able to determine that the 43-year-old and the 17-year-old had contacted each other a few times in the days before the killing. Further, surveillance video caught an image of a man running from the scene of the shooting carrying a large backpack, which may have contained drugs.
The 17-year-old is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery.
