Shoreline Boat Fire Causes Icy Problem
After they put out the fire, firefighters had another problem to deal with.

SHORELINE, WA - Firefighters successfully extinguished a fire stemming from a boat parked near a house - but putting out the fire actually created a new problem.
The fire broke out Wednesday afternoon near a home along the 20000 block of Greenwood Avenue North in the Hillwood neighborhood. After firefighters extinguished the fire, the water they used began to froze, and the area started "becoming an ice rink," the department reported.
City crews responded to the scene and added salt and sand to the roadway, the department reported.
