Shoreline Identifies Site For Aquatics Center
The city is looking at purchasing eight properties to complete the project.

SHORELINE, WA - The city recently decided on a site for a new community and aquatics center. The project will be developed by WRNS Studios at the site on 17828 Midvale Avenue N., currently home to Storage Court. The city said it will also approach owners of eight adjacent properties regarding purchasing the properties.
The eight properties are located on the west side of Stone Avenue between N 178th and N 180th Streets. According to a statement from the city, it's possible that the project won't include purchase of these properties.
The site was chosen because of its proximity to the Interurban Trail and the Park at Town Center. It is also convenient to Aurora Avenue and includes frequent transit service.
