Shoreline Man Dies In Fall Off Cliff Near Pratt Lake
The 31-year-old man fell off a 200-foot cliff, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.

SHORELINE, WA - A 31-year-old hiker from Shoreline died Sunday evening after falling off a 200-foot cliff while hiking near Pratt Lake.
Around 4:30 p.m., the man's hiking partner called 911 to report the incident. The victim had fallen off the cliff around 3:30 p.m., but the hiking partner couldn't find cell phone service for about an hour. The hiking partner could see the victim's backpack at the base of the cliff, but was unable to reach him.
King County search crews found the man's body just before midnight Sunday. His body was not recovered immediately due to poor weather, but a search and rescue team remained near the man through the night.

Pratt Lake is one of a handful of mountain lakes located north of I-90 west of Alpental.
