The following blotter items were selected from Shoreline Police reports from Feb. 20-28.

Feb. 20

MARIJUANA: A male person was pulled over at N.E. 175th St. and Fifth Ave. N.E. for driving while his license was suspended and police discovered a pill in his pocket and marijuana.

TRESPASS: Someone caused a disturbance at the Union 76 station at 1554 N.E. 145th St.

LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: Someone opened an unlocked driver’s side door of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of N.E. 175th St. and tool various items.

LARCENY, MORE THAN $250: Someone took a radar detector and checkbook from a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 17000 block of 8th Ave. N.E.

VANDALISM: Suspect(s) marked the parking lot of a church in the 1800 block of N.E. Serpentine Place with a large phallic symbol about 30 to 40 feet long.

 DISTURBANCE: A disturbance was reported at Mary Top Nails at 14729 Aurora Ave. N.

 AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: A female person in the 500 block of N. 170th Place said she was choked by her ex-boyfriend.

 ASSAULT, FOURTH DEGREE: Someone assaulted their roommate with their hands and a golf club in the 19800 block of 25th Ave. N.E after allegedly drinking all day.  The person fought with police as well.

 

Feb. 21

LARCENY, MORE THAN $250: Suspect(s) broke truck windows, stole stereo and tanning bed parts and a boat motor from a private parking area in the 17900 block of Stone Ave. N.

 VANDALISM: Someone slashed and punctured tires in the 17700 block of 15th Ave. N.E.

 VANDALISM: Someone plastered numerous buildings at Shoreline Community College with a vinyl sticker.

 HIT AND RUN: Suspect backs into the victim’s vehicle at the Safeway at 15332 Aurora Ave. N. then the victim tried to report old damage as new.

 SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: Security at Public Storage at 14900 Aurora Ave. N. called 911 to report that several people were stuck in the building upstairs with no code to get out because they entered without the codes.

 

Feb. 22

 LARCENY, MORE THAN $250: Someone prowled a vehicle in the 1800 block of N.E. 172nd St. while it was parked in a driveway and took items.

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: A male person hid DVDs in his jacket and left Costco without paying and was caught the store’s loss prevention team and a female person who hid DVDs in her purse and exited without paying was also caught.

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: Someone broke into a vehicle in the 300 block of N.E. Serpentine Place, the victim said was locked and stole an item.

 BURGLARY: Someone took items from a storage room at the Highland Square Apartments in the 300 block of N.W. Richmond Beach Road.

 AUTO THEFT: Someone stole a vehicle from a driveway in the 2100 block of N. 155th St.

 

Feb. 23

 TRESPASS: Staff at Shari’s at 15252 Aurora Ave. N. asked for trespass order for a transient who frequently does not pay for services rendered.

 DRUNKENNESS: Someone in the driver’s seat of a vehicle near 145th St. and Fifth Ave. N.E. was blocking a driveway and mailbox and was found by an officer to be asleep with a pool of vomit in the roadway.

 ROBBERY: Someone robbed Lupe’s Tienda in the 15000 block of Aurora Ave. N. at gunpoint.

 DRUNKENNESS AND MARIJUANA: Someone was walking in the middle of the 18500 block of 25th Ave. N. drunk and in possession of beer and marijuana.

 MAIL THEFT: Someone apparently took mail from a mailbox in the 19300 block of Second Ave. N.W. It was found by a neighbor and returned.

 FRAUD:  Somone manufactured nine fake checks and used them in the Shoreline area between Jan. 11 and 18. The victim became aware of the problem when three of the fake checks posted on Jan. 18. She is willing to assist in prosecution.

 MAIL THEFT: Someone stole the victim’s mail from a mailbox in front of the residence in the 19800 block of Eighth Ave. N.W.

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: A white man in his 20s or 30s stole razors from Top Foods.

 FORGERY: Someone tried to cash a washed stolen check at Bank of America, 18525 Firlands Way.

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: Someone stole an unlocked bike left outside the Shorecrest gym during wrestling practice.
