Shoreline Police Blotter July 4-11
The following blotter items and information on arrests were supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

July 4
STOLEN MOTORCYCLE: A man heard people talking outside his house on the 1500 block of NE 171st Street and thought it was his neighbors. He later discovered his motorcycle had been stolen.

STOLEN LADDER: Someone used a cutting tool to cut a cable lock and steal an aluminum ladder that was being stored outside Northern Design Graphics at 19906 Aurora Ave. N.
VEHICLE VANDALISM: Someone threw a brick through the window of a car parked on the 18200 block of 15th Avenue NE.

FORGERY: Someone turned a counterfeit $50 bill into the Wells Fargo at 360 NW Richmond Beach Dr.
FRAUD: Someone discovered fraudulent charges on a debit card. The card had not left the victim’s possession.
BURGLARY: Someone broke into a home on the 1500 block of Ashworth Avenue N and stole jewelry and electronics.
SEXUAL OFFENSES: Police reported the a juvenile who was high on LSD attacked a female while asking for sex and exposing himself.
ASSAULT: A man pushed his fiancée into a wall at the 18200 block of Linden Avenue N.
July 6
THEFT OF MUSIC EQUPMENT: A man invited a band over to his house for band practice, but he later discovered several missing instruments and musical equipment.
ASSAULT: A fight outside Baro Grocery at 17002 Aurora Avenue N left someone with a split ear.
LAPTOP THEFT: Someone stole a laptop computer from a room at the Richmond Beach Rehabilitation Center.
BANK ROBBERY: Someone demanded money from a teller at Key Bank at 17500 Aurora Ave. N.
DOG BITE: A man was walking down NW 178th Place putting advertisement fliers on mailboxes when a German Shepherd ran toward him and bit his right upper calf.
BURGLARY: Someone broke into a house on N 157th Street and rifled through drawers. Nothing appeared missing.
July 7
DRUNKENNESS: Police talked to several drunk people at the 1200 block of NW Richmond Beach Drive who had apparently gotten into an argument. Police said they were unable to get a clear story out of anyone.
DRUGS: Police found a woman with crack pipes when they entered a room at the Rodeway Inn on a criminal warrant.
MARIJUANA: Police found marijuana in a car when it was pulled over for a moving violation.
LARCENY: Someone entered an unlocked car on the 14700 block of 22nd Avenue S and stole about $6 in loose change.
LARCENY: Someone stole a wallet from a vehicle at Forest Hills Estate and used the victim’s ATM card to make $300 in charges.
July 8
ELUDING OFFICERS: Police arrested a man after a brief pursuit on Aurora Avenue N. He is suspected of DUI.
TRESPASS: A man was arrested for trespassing at the Autumn Ridge Apartments on the 15100 block of Stone Lane N.
STEALING FROM CAR: Someone smashed a window of a car on the 20300 block of 9th Avenue NE and stole items.
BROKEN TELEVISION: A woman reported that her son had broken her television on the 20000 block of 8th Avenue NW.
DRUNKENNESS: Police found a person who had consumed a large amount of alcohol and taken at least three doses of Lorazapam, an anti-anxiety medication.
July 9
PROTITUTION: Police arrested someone on suspicion of prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia at 152 Aurora Ave. N.
CRAIGSLIST SCAM: A person arranged to sell an iPhone to someone through Craigslist. When the two met at Shoreline Community College, the would-be buyer grabbed the phone and ran off.
ASSAULT: A man reportedly pushed a woman while she was driving. She then slapped him. The man was arrested on northbound I-5 near the NE 145th Street exit on suspicion of assault.
July 10
MARIJUANA: Police arrested a man on the 100 block of N 145th Street on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and driving with a revoked license.
ASSAULT: A woman allegedly assaulted her sister at the Safeway on NE 175th Street.
PROSTITUTION: Police arrested someone on suspicion of prostitution on the 14801 block of Whitman Avenue.
UNDERAGE DRINKING: Police saw a young man drinking a can of Four Loko while he was walking down Richmond Beach Drive near Point Wells. He attempted to ditch the can when he saw an officer approach.
July 11
BURGLARY: Someone stole a checkbook and some camera equipment from a house on the 20200 block of 23rd Avenue NW.
