June 24
DUI: Police impounded a vehicle after pulling over a driver on suspicion of DUI on the 16000 block of Aurora Avenue N.

DRUGS: Police discovered crack cocaine and prescription narcotics in a vehicle traveling on NE 185th Street near 10th Avenue NE.
DRINKING IN PUBLIC: Police found a man drinking at Innis Arden Reserve after dusk.

June 26
DUI ACCIDENT: A man drove a car into a telephone pole on the 19200 block of Wallingford Avenue N. The driver and passenger tried to flee the scene, but a police dog apprehended them.
LARCENY: Someone smashed the window of a car and stole items from the inside while the vehicle was parked at the Crest Theatre.
VEHICLE PROWL: Someone entered a Toyota Camry that was parked at Paramount Park.
June 27
PROWLING: Someone tried to steal wire from Shorewood High School.
THEFT: Police responded to a report of someone stealing $100 from a woman’s purse at the Anderson House on the 17200 block of 15th Avenue N.
FRAUD: Someone made unauthorized online purchases with a man’s Visa card.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: Someone broke the window of a car parked at the Shoreline Library and stole a backpack from the seat.
FRAUD: Someone gained access to a person’s credit card number and made unauthorized purchases.
STOLEN LAPTOP: Someone stole a laptop from the Shoreline Library while the owner was away from his desk.
June 28
DRUNKENNESS/DRUGS: Police found a man passed out on the sidewalk at 15839 Westminster Way N. The man had apparently drunk some Listerine that he had laced with cocaine.
STOLEN WALLET: A man claimed to have been choked by people with whom he was smoking marijuana and who subsequently took his wallet at Hamlin Park.
LARCENY AT TACO BELL: A manager reported missing cash from the register.
VANDALIZED ATM: Someone cracked the cash door of a Bank of America ATM at 1121 N 205 St.
STOLEN MAIL: Someone reportedly stole a check for a utility bill from a mailbox.
June 29
SHOPLIFTING MISTAKES: A man who reportedly stole some items from Fred Meyer left behind his wallet and photo ID.
THREATS: A man told another man at Shoreline Community College that he would kill him. The threat was recorded on a 911 tape and heard by witnesses.
June 30
MARIJUANA: Police discovered 4.7 grams of marijuana when they pulled over a vehicle on the 15000 block of Aurora Avenue N. for missing a front license plate.
DUI: Police arrested a woman on the 18500 block of Meridian Avenue on suspicion of DUI. The woman registered .18 and .19 blood alcohol content.
AUTO THEFT: Someone stole a newspaper delivery person’s car while he was making deliveries on the 700 block of N 193rd Street.
UNDERAGED DRINKING: Police caught three teenagers drinking vodka in the parking lot of the state Department of Transportation offices at N 157th Court and Dayton Avenue.
AUTO THEFT: Someone stole a vehicle from the 20100 block of Greenwood Avenue N.
FIGHTING: Police responded to a fight that broke out at Costco. No charges were filed.
ASSAULTING A DRIVER: A jaywalker reportedly punched a driver at Safeway at 17202 15th Ave. NE.
July 1
DRUGS: Police found suspects in possession of narcotics equipment in a parking lot at Shorecrest High School.
DINE AND DITCH: Five people fled Sharis on Aurora Avenue N without paying.
STEALING COINS: Two people entered the Days Inn on Aurora and pried open coin-op laundry machines and vending machines to take money.
BOMBING: Someone detonated a CO2 explosive device at Echo Lake Elementary School. The bomb destroyed a concrete pillar surrounding a fire hydrant and sent chunks of concrete onto a nearby roof.
STEALING FROM VEHICLES: Police reported two instances of smashed car windows and stolen items at Hamlin Park.
July 2
FRAUD: Someone made fraudulent charges on a woman’s debit card account. The woman said she didn’t know how anyone could have gained access to her account.
FIGHT LEADS TO VANDALISM: A father and son were arguing on the 17500 block of Corliss Avenue N when the son reportedly punched holes in the door and wall of the father’s house and keyed his car.
MISCHIEF: Police found a group of juveniles at Richmond Beach Park after hours with a box of fireworks. Police confiscated the fireworks and told the juveniles to stay out of the park after hours.
MARIJUANA: Police pulled over a driver and found 1.5 grams of marijuana and drugs without a valid prescription.
July 3
STOLEN PHONE: Someone stole a phone from a woman who was working out at the YMCA. The victim left the phone on a treadmill while she was getting water.
FRAUD: Someone accessed a woman’s BECU checking account and withdrew $1,000 from an ATM.
CONFISCATED FIREWORKS: Police confiscated firecrackers and roman candles from someone who was lighting them off at Richmond Beach Park.
June 4
EXPLOSIVES: Police confiscated three “seal bombs,” yellow cardboard tubes full of explosive material, from a man’s garage on the 1800 block of N 200th Street.
