Shoreline Police Blotter: Man Locks His Girlfriend in a Bathroom

The following blotter items from Sept. 13- Sept. 17 and information on arrests were supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction

SEPT 13

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after breaking a mailbox and trying to start a fight with another individual.

WEAPON VIOLATION: A man, arrested with warrants on N.E. 159th St. and 5th Ave. N.E., failed to identify himself and was in possession on an unlicensed firearm.

SEPT 14

ASSAULT: A man hit a woman, with an open hand and a broom, when she parked her car on the street in front of his condo in the 19300 block of 15th Ave. N.W.

BURGLARY: An unknown person walked into a coffee shop on N.E. 179th St. and stole money from the register.

KIDNAPPING: A man was arrested after locking his girlfriend in a bathroom, assaulting her and threatening her with a knife.

SEPT 15

LARCENY: Someone stole a purse from an unlocked vehicle in the 18500 block of Firlands Way N., and made fraudulent charges with the credit cards at a gas station.

MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A man was transferred to the hospital after threatening to  commit suicide and banging his head against the wall.

CRIMINAL WARRANT: A man was arrested for outstanding warrants after being kicked out of a Taco Bell for drinking a beer and passing out behind a dumpster.

SEPT 16

FORGERY: Someone stole money orders from a locked mailbox at an apartment building, in the 17200 block of Aurora Ave. N., and forged signatures on them.

THREATS: Someone left threatening posts on a blog.

SEPT 17

DISTURBANCE: People were cited, at a loud drinking party, for violation of the Shoreline Noise Ordinance.

LARCENY: While at a stoplight on Aurora Ave. N., juveniles stole a marijuana blanket from a roadside salesman.
