Bank robber, smash and grab suspects arrested by police

The following blotter items were selected from Shoreline Police reports from March 4-7, 2011.

 March 4

 ASSAULT: Someone punched a person in the parking lot of Aurora Village and was cited for Investigation of Assault 4 and referred to Shoreline Municipal Court.

 ASSAULT: her mom’s ex-boyfriend in the 14700 block of 31st Ave. N.E assaulted a victim.

 BANK ROBBERY: A person who claimed in a demand note that he had a gun and explosives robbed the GBC International Bank at 16001 Aurora Ave. N. He was found by an officer and arrested. The money was recovered.

March 5

 CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: An intoxicated person drove off Aurora Ave. N. near N. 182nd St. and got his vehicle stuck. The suspect was found in possession of ecstasy after being searched an arrested.

 LARCENY, MORE THAN $250: A suspect in a vehicle pulled up to the victim’s vehicle in the parking lot of Goodwill, 14500 15th Ave. N.E., smashed out the windows and stole items and then drove off. An officer found the vehicle an hour later and arrested both suspects and impounded two vehicles for a search warrant. A stolen iPod was recovered.

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: A shoplifter fled security at Marshall’s, 15801 Westminster Way, but dropped the stolen goods .

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: Someone tore off part of a drainage system of a condominium in the 14500 block of 32nd Ave. N.E.

 MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A man detoxing from heroin went into the 7-Eleven at 16920 15th Ave. N.E. and said if he can’t use it he wants to die. He was transported to Northwest Hospital.

 CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Police found two individuals in vehicle in the 14500 block of Stone Ave. N. looking for a place to smoke crack and have sex for money.

 

March 6

 TRESPASS: A transient was ordered to leave Denny’s at 904 N. 155th St.

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: A man was drunk and refusing to pay his cab fare while in the 18500 block of Eighth Ave. N.E. He was cited for Theft 3.

 

March 7

 CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: The principal of Einstein Middle School called the school resource officer after discovering a student had four coricidin pills in her possession. The student told them she takes between 16 and 25 pills a day that she apparently was stealing.

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: Someone hid merchandise in his pants and exited the Safeway at 17202 15th Ave. N.E. without paying and was caught by store security.
