Shoreline School On 'Lockout' Due To Police Activity
In a lockout, the school building is closed visitors, but classes continue as normal.

SHORELINE, WA - The Cascade K-8 and Home Education Exchange school was placed on lockout Friday morning due to police activity in the area. The lockout was lifted after about an hour around 11 a.m.
During a lockout, a school is closed to outsiders, but classes continue as usual inside the building.
In September, Echo Lake Elementary School was briefly placed on lockout due to police searching for a burglary suspect near the school. That lockout lasted about 30 minutes.
