Shorewood Boys Tennis Team Beats Everett, 5-2 in Wesco 3A Action
No. 1 doubles team of Cameron McDowell and Eli Hecker wins 6-2, 6-1
The Shorewood boys tennis team split wins in the singles matches and swept the doubles to defeat Everett 5 - 2 in a Wesco 3A conference tennis match, Friday afternoon.
The doubles were led by number one doubles team of Cameron McDowell and Eli Hecker. They defeated their opponents 6-2, 6-1. Number one singles Liam Keebler won his match in a hard fought three set match 5-7, 6-2, 6-1.
The win improves Shorewood's overall record to 2-1 and 1-0 in conference. Their next conference match is at Mountlake Terrace high schol on Monday September 10 starting at 3:30pm.
