Shorewood Culinary Arts Serves Up Sixth Dinner
Shorewood Culinary Arts students serve guests an array of tasty foods.
Shrimp, tuna and pork loins were on the menu that the Shorewood Culinary Arts students prepared and served Thursday.
The students had help from Flying Fish chef and owner Christine Keff.
Keff helped the students set up for the dinner and guided them through the night.

"These kids are amazing and fun," Keff said. "I was impressed by every bit of their interest and ability in the kitchen."
Shorewood Culinary Arts is a two-year program for high school juniors and seniors. The program provides an introduction to the food industry through hands-on experience and exposure to local culinary points of interest, both in the classroom and in the community, according to shorewoodculinaryarts.org.

There are 16 students in the program and they have been hosting dinners since September, with this dinner being their sixth.
Shorewood Culinary Arts Instructor Diana Dillard was happy with the way the dinner went.
"I am proud of them (students)," she said. "They did a great job and worked really hard."
