Son Stabs Mom In Shoreline; Suspect In Custody
According to the King County Sheriff's Office, an adult son stabbed his mother Wednesday in Shoreline.

SHORELINE, WA - Police responded to a Shoreline home Wednesday afternoon after a 65-year-old woman was apparently stabbed by her son. The incident took place along the 2100 block of North 156th Place, which is between Meridian and Corliss avenues west of I-5. The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment with life-threatening injuries.
According to the King County Sheriff's Office, police responded to the home around 12:30 p.m. after a man called 911 and said there was an intruder in his house. He would not tell the dispatcher anything else, however.
At the home, police encountered a 34-year-old man standing in the doorway covered in blood and holding two knives. Inside the home, police found the woman with multiple stab wounds. The woman told police that her son had stabbed her.
