SUV Hits Shoreline Apartment Building

SHORELINE, WA - Shoreline firefighters responded to an accident last night involving an SUV that drove into a local apartment complex.

The accident happened along the 4oo block of Northeast 165th St., just west of the Crest Theater. The fire department said that the driver of the Subaru Forester was taken to the hospital for treatment of injures, which appeared to be non-life threatening.

The accident displaced people living in three units of the Ridgecrest apartment complex. City officials are assessing the structural safety of the building, the Shoreline Fire Department said.
