SHORELINE, WA - A tree limb knocked out power to about 4,000 people in Shoreline and Seattle around 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving, but Seattle City Light crews were able to restore power to most homes overnight.

As of Friday morning, the outage was down to 29 homes along N 155th Street in the vicinity of Twin Ponds Park. Seattle City Light said on Friday morning that it would be continuing to work on fixes to power lines in the area on Friday.

Another outage on Thanksgiving hit approximately 5,4000 Seattle City Light customers in the Ravenna-University District area, but crews were able to restore power quickly. That outage was caused by a faulty underground cable.
