Walker Sues Biker Over Burke-Gilman Collision

LAKE FOREST PARK, WA - A woman is suing a bicyclist over a May 2016 collision along the Burke-Gilman Trial in Lake Forest Park, according to KIRO 7.

The woman was hit from behind by the biker, and she claims he was driving his bike negligently, according to the report. The lawsuit says the biker was going over the 15 MPH speed limit along the trail.

The Burke-Gilman runs for 27 miles between Ballard and Marymoor Park. It turns into the Sammamish River Trail near Bothell. Seattle manages the section south of 145th Street, and King County manages the rest.
