Young Buck Spotted in LFP

Patch reader snaps shot near N.E. 175th St. and 47th Ave. N.E.

The sun came out Monday and temperatures reached the 70s and the deer came out in some Puget Sound neighborhoods.

A young buck was spotted in Lake Forest Park on private property near N.E. 175th St. and 47th Ave N.E. by brothers Matt and Chris Clasen this evening.

Matt Clasen shot a photo of the antlered deer about 6:30 p.m. He called 911, but the dispatcher did not consider the buck roaming the neighborhood a priority, as its common to see deer in parts of King County. Still, Chris Clasen, wrote to Patch that he's lived his entire life in LFP and this was the first time he'd seen a deer in the city.
